Profitable Prices - Glyphius Pricing Digits Scoring
Pricing digits are the digits used in setting prices for
various products.
The question is:
Which are the best digits to use?
It depends.
For example, which, in general, should give a better response:
$19.95 or $20.00?
Well, according to Brausch's Glyphius (version 2.0b2), yes $19.95 is better than $20.00.
But, $25.00 is better than $24.95.
And $24.50 is better than either.
I've gone and tablulated a large list of prices and their Glyphius (version 2.0b2)
scores.
The first section below gives the digits, prices, and the scoring
I came up with for the short list on Brausch's site.
The second section gives the much larger list I have compiled.
Between the two are my notes. I haven't gone into a big discussion; the bottom line -- according to Glyphius -- is that prices using ALL the digits 0, 1, 3, 5 give the best results.

You will see that prices to the penny (e.g., $10.00 vs $10)
give better results due to the fact that Glyphius scores
punctuation as well as numerals and letters.
And the period "." is the best-scoring punctuation mark.

Note, if you are interested in Glyphius, sorry, I can't help you. Brausch used to sell that with the assistance of affiliates. He no longer sells it directly or with affiliates. He has changed his "business model" to load up resellers with inventory to sell to those possibly interested in it. (If the resellers can't unload that inventory, tough titties.)
